NEW Non-Pro Instructions - Including: # of Calls to Insured, Agent, and 10-Day Return Letter
Amtrust has set forth new requirements for Non-Productive Returns.
Please read the attached and follow the NEW instructions. Process should transpire over 30-day period:
Three calls to insured.
· First call within the first two weeks of receiving the assignment or as soon as the policy expires.
· Calls should be one week apart.
· Second attempt to contact should be a phone call if the insured did not respond to email or letter.
· If no response, then….
Two calls to the agent.
· Allow agent 3 days to respond.
· If no response, then….
Send 10-Day Return Letter
· If appointment is scheduled, confirm appointment with insured and go over the documents that need to be prepared in advance of the appointment.
